Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon

More than 5,000 people from every corner of the city came together on December 6 and 7, 2013, for the Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon, which raised more than $1.1 million to support Texas Children’s Cancer Center.

Cox Radio’s 93Q Country (92.9 FM), Country Legends (97.1 FM) and The Eagle (106.9 FM and 107.5 FM) rocked the Texas Children’s message across the airwaves for two days straight. Texas Children’s Hispanic Radiothon partner, CBS Radio’s Mega 101 FM, did the same — all in the name of improved patient care and research.28_radiothon_sidebar_563

Mega 101 FM also received recognition at Celebration (the annual Children’s Miracle Network meeting) as Best Hispanic Radiothon Partner among all the U.S. hospitals that host a Hispanic Radiothon.
